My Story
I studied business in university and whilst in school, did several internships at companies across different sectors. One internship in particular was in New York City as a marketing intern for a start-up called Current, which exposed me to the world of fintech. During this time, I was introduced to the role of a product manager. I saw how product managers wore many different hats and how the decisions they made could have tangible, real life impact on others. Inspired by their work, I thought to myself that I too, would like to become a product manager in the future.
After graduation, wanting to learn acquire more knowledge about software products and gain more global exposure, I joined HubSpot as a customer support specialist guiding customers all around the world to troubleshoot software issues and utilize HubSpot's software to the fullest.
By nature of the job, on a daily basis I would interact with the product and collaborate cross-functionally with other teams which furthered my interest in product. I found that I enjoyed advocating for customers and helping them figure out the best solutions that would solve their pain points. At the same time, I also wanted to make an impact on a larger scale and further improve the product. Being a product manager seemed ideal as I would get to do both of those things.
And with that, what started out as a mere curious interest in product has since developed into something bigger - a quest to become a product manager. In pursuit of that, I have create this personal website as a way to highlight my passion for product management. My ultimate dream is to be able to create remarkable products that serve meaningful purpose and bring joy to people's lives.
